A couple of months back, CU students sponsored an evening with Bill Ayers, Derrick Jensen, and Ward Churchill in support of Churchill’s reinstatement lawsuit against CU. You can find video of the Bill Ayers and Ward Churchill portions here.
The savvier of you will note some so-called security dipshit standing around behind Churchill with his hands in his pockets, not looking real tough. It’s me. They let me show up to these things like you’d throw a dog a bone, but the legitimate badasses on stage were Brad and Alicia Gumm. There were death threats galore leading up the event, but thanks to those two, Messrs Ayers, Churchill, and Jensen couldn’t have been safer in an AIM bunker.
Finally got a chance to view the video. Ayers’ speech and performance during the Q&A was excellent. Would have loved to have seen a bit more of Churchill in action. All the same, nicely done.
