Reinstatement for Ward Churchill possible tomorrow

Tomorrow is the full day reinstatement hearing for Ward Churchill. He has already won his civil suit against the University of Colorado, and tomorrow Judge Naves will hear testimony on whether Churchill is to be reinstated. According to the Boulder Daily Camera (which, deliciously, has been anti-Churchill from the get go):

The judge has the option of ruling from the bench at the end of the hearing or issuing a written decision later. Neither the judge’s clerk nor the attorneys in the case would hazard a guess as to when Naves might announce his decision.

If you can make it to the hearing, it’ll be here:

Denver District Court Courtroom 6
1437 Bannock St.
Denver, CO
80202

A jury has already found that Churchill’s civil rights were violated by CU. Reinstatement is justice.

Update: You gotta love this tidbit from the Daily Camera article:

When asked to comment, Churchill criticized the Camera in an e-mail but did not directly address the upcoming hearing.

Would be nice if they reported the nature of the criticism, but that’s probably a little much to ask.

I posted this on the Daily Camera web site at 11:15

“Ward Churchill is a hero of all rational and moral people. He said what was both true and necessary for us to hear vis-a-vis the 9/11 attacks. The US is the largest sponsor of state terrorism in the world– this is a FACT that cannot be waived off with the insouciant hand of the irrational jingoists– if one bothers with FACTS at all. FACTS matter.

Which is why the Daily Camera, Dan Kaplis & Craig Silverman, and legions of ersatz leftists who pretend to be decent people are ALL anti-Ward Churchill– cuz they have ZERO allegiance to the FACTS and only have access to their labile and reptilian limbic brain to the exclusion of their higher logical faculties. All these people are irrational and emotional retards who cannot admit their own govt. is involved in subversion of democracy and wholesale terror campaigns against the 3rd world even though the FACTS are clear that OUR govt was and is involved in these very things [ed.note see: Culture of Terrorism by Noam Chomsky].

I’m heartened to see that a few average Colorado citizens were able to access their rational brains to find in Churchill’s favor (and really all our favor) in their recent decision. Maybe the Camera and all its ersatz leftist readers can have a moment of moral clarity and admit that firing him for ‘objectionable’ speech is the sine qua non of a Fascist State– and that the jury nullified that totalitarian nonsense on principle (a principle that the ostensible guardians of democracy i.e. the Free Press, might want to champion with a full throated defense when it counts!).

Good deal, Diablo. The Camera’s editorial staff have been some of the biggest leaders of the mob.
